Nice Scope But Had a Few Very Minor Problems

The scope is nice for the price but it had some small problems. Cons: The screws that attached the rubber feet to the base were too long and extended beyond the feet and scratched the lab bench. Replaced the screws. The locking force of dual locking knobs on the horizontal boom was not very effective at keeping the head from rotating. They have to be cranked down extremely tight. Too tight! Pros: The zoom and focus is smooth. The image is sharp. The circular LED illuminator has a dimming control which is handy. The base is plenty heavy. All in all, a nice piece of gear.
