Bad hub sizing

The 17 mm hub mold was slightly oversized. Causing my hubs to slip on them and strip the wheel 17 mm portion when there was resistance while I was taking the axle nuts off. Now I am so reluctant to try that wheel on my 6S E Revo again. And I don’t have the money to buy a whole new set of wheels and tires.
