wet them down
you have to put them in a bowl of water so they are wet when applied to your surface to be sure they grip well

We love them
We had a different kind of bells for years and they finally went bad. These bells play good Christmas tunes and we love them as much as our old ones. I leave them powered up 24/7, so when you walk past them they play for you.
