Captain Marvel - Meet Thanos.

Being asked to review something when I’m only about a quarter of the way in is difficult, but so far it’s alright. The dialogue is a bit clunky but that’s the 70’s for you, though the artwork is as colourful and attractive as you get from Marvel Comics during this time (that and the 60’s being my two favourite decades for comics). What’s also good is how it isn’t just Captain Marvel stories but other characters too that ultimately contribute to the Thanos saga. The story I’m most looking forward to reading (& not at the same time) is ‘The Death of Captain Marvel’, purely because I have cancer too. I’m hoping that it’s dealt with in a sensitive though compelling way, ‘Nuff said.
