Fuel savings oddly enough.
4 of 7 found this helpful I bought this to put my spare trailer tire in. Much to my surprise after I installed the rack and ran a couple tanks of gas through my car I'm saving about 2 mile per gallon! I'm assuming the little wind breaker at the front of the rack is helping to push air up and over the face of the trailer. I was averaging 9.5 mpg, now I'm hoovering around 11.5mpg. I can't believe it. And now I have a place for my ladder.
