Not 1st edition
2 of 3 found this helpful There are certain things in the first edition introduction that have since been omitted in the previous versions. This book has been edited and therefore is not a “rare first edition.” Waste of money. In the picture I’ve included of the front page of the book, there is a statement saying the “library of Congress has catalogued the earlier edition as...” if this were the original rate 1st edition there would be no earlier edition. Also note the difference in ISBN numbers.
