First for logging operations the Husqvarna chain both cuts well and doesn't stretch as fast. I've convertged from Oregon LGX and feel as if this chain is an improvement

Replacement Handle For Stihl MS660's and Farmertec MS660's
For those big Stihl 660 based saws that are either damaged or the "kits" from Aftermarket companies, these are by far the best option. Two reasons. First price. Second the are light weight and strong. Most of the other aftermarket options are simply too soft to be useful.
There are some "new" am full wrap options. To me adding weight to a heavy saw makes no sense, and as stated a reason I go for these as I'm always trying to find ways to reduce weight on these big saws.

Cut through the internet clutter relative to these Huztl/Farmertec 56mm top end kits.
Typically these kits are purchased for less than $50 dollars US. You get all that's in the picture. Cylinder, Piston, etc. The typical online commentary is mixed partly because these kits are often lumped in with therefore confused with similar looking kits from other manufactures. ALL the 56mm big bore kits have a geometry issue that in some cases results in a free port condition at TDC. The kits I've experienced from Huztl have such a small amount its a none issue whereas there are others you can find here on eBay from other resellers with a significant issue with free porting (Both intake and exhaust ports open to the crank case at the same time), I've used some from several sources and the ones purchased right here through Huztl have been both better and more consistent in quality than any of the others manufactured in China. They sometimes will need a little cleanup right where the threaded spark plug hole intersects the combustion chamber. You also must use the base gasket which shouldn't be a stretch for most. Sometime getting the idle right requires finesse and a little patience. It's worth the effort as the resultant saw is a beast... certainly worth the purchase price and a great way to freshen up a stuck or otherwise worn out 066 or MS660.
