Great performance with upgrade capabilities...

This is an excellent computer, rock solid performance, undeniable durability, features that rival current generation MacBook Pros, e.g., USB 3.0, Thunderbolt, 802.11(450Mbit), Bluetooth 4.0, Gigabit Ethernet... This is the last model to offer user upgradeable components, e.g., larger hard drive or SSD, RAM upgrade to 16GB, and a built in SD(SuperDrive). This is one of the best computers you can purchase, at a good price! The Retina Display is obviously one added benefit of the current generation of MacBook Pro's but with the much higher costs and inability of user upgradeable components, the Mid 2012 MacBook Pro is hard to beat.
