Taylor Precision Products Digital Minute/Second Timer New

lightweight and too small

This is the worst timer ever. I have a Taylor from about 15 years ago. It works great, that's why I wanted another Taylor. The window is too small. My older one has a window that is 11/16 high and 1 19/32 wide. This new one has a window that is 19/32 high and 1 1/16 wide. The alarm can only be heard when you hold it up to your ear. I put a new battery in and the alarm can only be heard when I hold the timer up to my ear. The old Taylor can be heard from my kitchen into my living room. The person who designed this new one certainly didn't try it out or look to see how clear it is. I don't use the new one because I can't see it good and mainly because you can't hear it when the time is up. I don't see a model number on my old one, but it is 2 1/16 high and 2 9/16 wide. If you have one of those please send it to me, otherwise please refund my money. I am going to take the battery out and put this new timer into my recycle bag. I'm sorry it didn't work out, Walter Mack
