Best bang for your buck. They have NEVER let me down.
Although these are priced generally higher than other competitors, the overall dependability of Western Digital drives, I feel, can't be beat. Saving 10 or 15 dollars is not worth it when you lose all of your data. If you have a NAS, check out their line of "RED" drives.

Works awesome! MUCH larger than I anticipated.
I love the way this switch performs. I have a fairly large home network, both wired and wireless. I have tried gigabit switches that perform well, but with a large load from multiple computers, the transfer speeds would slow sometimes to a crawl. After hooking this switch up, I was blown away by how fast files would move, documents would load off of my network servers, and how much smoother internet browser pages would load. The only drawback is the massive footprint this takes up, and the fan noise. Most home switches are fanless, and I think that may contribute to their speed issues. This one will run cold all day long, but you will not be let down. After all, this IS an industrial strength model. If you are looking for speed and reliability, this is an excellent choice given the great price point (between $50-$100) over what they retailed for new (upwards of $20,000.00). As long as you have space for this behemoth, you will not be disappointed.
