It's like a small shop vac with plastic toy-like attachments
The attachments are so lightweight that I found myself vacuuming the walls as well! I wear earplugs when operating power equipment so the noise, though not that bad with this unit, doesn't bother me. If you have a hose with a spay attachment outdoors then you can easily rinse the cannister after each use - otherwise stick with a bag vac. Wouldn't recommended for carpets since the floor attachment is a joke.

Not bad
Just be careful not to loose it - it's comfortable so you'll forget weather you have it on or not. I had mine for two weeks before I lost it when removing a scarf. :( Volume is acceptable but would prefer it a little louder.
