Economical Tool For Amateurs
The larger cavity loosely fits my full size electric.and acoustic guitars and the smaller cavity loosely fits my ukulele tuning pegs.
When you consider the price of the Planet Waves tool, £9,99, this tool is good enough for an amateur but it should not be styled as a *PRO* Winder!
The winder squeaked and the cutters were stiff but short squirt of PTFE dry lube fixed that!
To cut a string square and cleanly there must be a near zero gap between the two (bypass) cutters. My example has a four thou. (0.004", 0.1mm) gap. Cutting soft copper wire resulted in a bend rather than a cut. I will be trying to correct this deficiency by use of a vice, spacers and a pin punch.
A further annoyance is that the end (peg removal) of the cutter handle catches on the string winder when closed. BTW, the pegs should never have been pressed so hard into the bridge as to need this tool.
For all I know the (£9.99) D.Addario Pro Winder is no better?

Nice Test Lead Set .. but a couple of faults.
Nice box with latches but the hinges were broken a small crack in the lid.
The small croc clips would not close but a pair of mole grips on the distorted rivet and a drop of 3in1 oil fixed that. The shrouds are too big and stiff - see photograph for a much better design.
The leads would be better with stacking plugs. Even better if they had sliding shrouds. Nice touch to include a hook-and-loop band to keep them tidy.
Instead of the plethora of fine probes it would be good to have 4mm plug and spade terminals. Admittedly, iremoving the shrouds from the grey probes does reveal a plug.
The mini latching hook probes are nice and the have stacking plugs but only an unshrouded or sliding shroud plug will fit.
This was despatched by Amazon (really!) where I could have bought it for £5.93 less.

A Useful, Cheap Selection of Wire Brushes
At 2.9mm OD the (steel) shafts are slightly smaller than the Dremel standard 1/8" (3.175 mm) but they fit securely in the Dremel collet. I can't wait to try them out.
The yellow coloured brushes may be brass but the silver coloured brushes are not attracted by a magnet. They are identical in weight (5.07g) and the individual wires are the same diameter.
N.B. The RRP for genuine Dremel Brass Brushes is £7.85 each! But, there are some bargains to be found on Ebay.
Dremel recommend not running these above 15,000 rpm and I say less than that for the largest (25 mm) diameter and please "WEAR SAFETY GLASSES"!
