Photographic History In The Kodak 2A Camera Manual.
The Eastman Kodak Company of Rochester New York was prolific in the development and production of cameras,film,chemistry and all things photographic for over 110 years from its inception in 1888.
George Eastman (July 12, 1854 – March 14, 1932) was an American entrepreneur who founded the Eastman Kodak Company and helped to bring the photographic use of roll film into the mainstream. Roll film was also the basis for the invention of motion picture film stock in 1888 by the world's first film-makers Eadweard Muybridge and Louis Le Prince, and a few years later by their followers Léon Bouly, William Kennedy Dickson, Thomas Edison, the Lumière Brothers, and Georges Méliès.
The Kodak 2A roll film camera and it's historical manual that is listed above is part of that early history of The Eastman Kodak Company and is a beautiful piece attached to such a historical industry and company.
