Celestron X-Cel LX 5 mm 1.25" eyepiece for Celestron NextStar 130 mm SLT Reflector telescope
0 of 2 found this helpful The 25mm and 9mm eyepieces that came with my Celestron NexStar 130 SLT Reflector GoTo (computer-controlled) Telescope were disappointing. I couldn't see the rings of Saturn nor the cloud bands of Jupiter. The tripod that is built into the Celestron SLT 130 telescope is wobbly, making seeing ANYTHING with this telescope with ANY eyepiece difficult. But since the Company I bought it from, High Point Scientific, wouldn't let me return it, and since Celestron wouldn't let me return it and pay additional money for a better telescope (but did let me return it in exchange for another of the same model, which I did because of malfunction of the electric movement controls and the computer-controlled aspect being impossible), I decided to buy this eyepiece to try to make my purchase of this telescope something other than a complete waste of money. Obviously, the eyepiece does nothing to improve the poorly built, wobbly built-in tripod. However, this 5mm eyepiece did make it possible for me to see, for the first time with my own telescope, the rings of Jupiter. However, even with this 5mm eyepiece I still can't make out the cloud bands of Jupiter. A very annoying problem with this 5mm eyepiece is my eye must be precisely the right distance above the eyepiece and must be positioned just right for me to see ANYTHING with this eyepiece. With this eyepiece it doesn't seem possible for the full field of view to be visible all at once. In summary, this eyepiece is better than those provided with the Celestron NextStar SLT 130 Reflector telescope, but I strongly recommend you DO NOT BUY the Celestron NextStar SLT 130 telescope this eyepiece is designed for: Your money is better spent on another (probably more expensive) telescope.

Avoid LGA CPUs & LGA motherboards
I recommend avoiding all motherboards that have and processors that require the land grid array LGA CPU socket. the LGA sockets have very fragile pins that are easily damaged and are beyond repair when changing processors or CPUs.
