High hopes, disappointed

I really wanted this to work. I had awful flow-restriction shower heads and wanted something with good flow and to make it easy to wash the dogs as well as me. I tried installing it according to instructions (no Teflon tape, hand tighten). I tried with the tape applied, and used channel-lock pliers to tighten. No matter, this shower head installation turned my shower into a decorative fountain, wasting untold gallons of water by squirting it sideways (past the shower curtain and along the bathroom wall one morning, causing a large puddle to be mopped up on the bathroom floor), or dripping down from myriad leaks. I’m certainly no plumber but it would appear there are too many plastic parts inside which are not up to the challenge of directing water without leaks. Or maybe the precision in the engineering is low. All I can tell you is my crappy old shower head was reinstalled after 5 days of trying to make this one work correctly.

No leaks so can’t tedt

However, I can confirm the sensor pairs with HomeKit with ridiculous ease, and always appears on my roster of 30+ HomeKit items. Never experienced a moment when it disappeared, and needed to be removed and re-paired with HomeKit. I wish I could make that statement about the rest of my sensors.
