New genuine Dell battery will not hold charge for more than 1-2 hours !

Extremely frustrated and disappointed after wasting my time and effort to remove and refit this ' new battery ' after finding it does not hold charge any better than my original 5 year old battery . If this is a ' once off ' I will accept that but would require full replacement with NO out of pocket expenses . Or a total refund immediately !
