Genuine Whirlpool Ice Maker
Genuine Whirlpool for not much more than the cheap knock-offs. This is definitely the way to go if you need to replace your ice maker. The replacement procedure is pretty simple and there are videos available online.

Good value and functionality, but I prefer the higher-end model
I have both the E (Frosted) thermostat and the higher-end model. While the E model is a very good value, I would recommend spending the extra money and getting its more expensive brother, which has a more elegant look and feel, and some additional functionality. It's not like you're going to be buying it again after only a few years, so don''t skimp on the initial cost. But if up-front cost is a big consideration, the E model will do what you need.
