Great Price, and They Work
This was a great price for this coil spring conversion kit, and they were easy to install. Note, however, that when the kit arrived, the top spring plate was not assembled correctly out of the box. The ears on the plate were pointing downward (toward the rubber spacer). The ears should face up toward the vehicle and seat in the existing clearance hole on the vehicle. Also, note that when installing these, they do not bolt to the cradle at the bottom. The hole in the cradle where the bottom of the spring sits provides clearance for the bolt head and washer so that the bottom spring plate sits flush against the cradle.
The springs work well for my application (2003 Lincoln Continental). The car rides well, although the rear end is a little high. That should take care of itself as the springs settle in. (I added a couple hundred pounds to trunk to help speed up that process.)
