M42 lens to Sony Alpha Adapter
Its a plastic lens adapter. There is no point trying to conceal the fact BUT even though a metal equivalent would certainly produce better quality results, be harder wearing and last longer the amazingly cheap price of its plastic equivalent and the fact that it actually works makes this adapter well worth considering for those who want to gain hands on experience in the use of all manner of lenses they wouldn't ordinarily be able to use without an adapter.
Its no secret that the cost of top quality photographic equipment is astronomical and frankly, beyond the means of most of us. This affordable plastic adapter helps to minimise at least some of the huge expense involved and, given that It looks and feels quite robust, in my view, its a must for the entry level photographer

Macro extension tubes for Sony A58 etc
I am a photographer as a hobby but serious enough to want to experience macro as well as landscape and portrait techniques. Ordinarily, to purchase the best lenses and extension tubes would be totally outside what I could afford but through Ebay I have been able to locate a number of manufacturers who manufacture these specialist items for just a few pounds. These extension tubes are an excellent example. OK they may not be of the same standard as more expensive versions BUT they work and work well. As you can see they are actually a set of 3 rings which screw together or can be used separately. By simply attaching the tube(s) to the camera body and then attaching the lens to the tube(s) the magnification factor is increased to a point way beyond what you could achieve with the lens alone. This enables the user to gain valuable experience in macro photography that just wouldn't normally be possibly for anyone except the wealthy. I am completely satisfied with these tubes and get really good results every time. Perhaps they wont last as long as the so called 'better quality' tubes but to be honest, other than the camera attachment mechanism, I cant see anything else that could wear out. Even if they did I could replace them fifty times and still not spend as much as I would need to expend to purchase professional tubes.
