Fabulous!
1 of 1 found this helpful After reading nearly all the reviews I could find, I decided to bite the bullet and buy, what I thought at the time was too expensive, this tool as I was at my wits end as to how I was going to remove the drum off the rear of my 1990 Chevy WT that has been parked for a number of years. I had tried every method I could think of for 3days to no avail, banging it with a bfh, drowning it with PB blaster and banging some more, nothing. This model has no way to back off the adjustment screw nor has the means to use the bolt method of backing it off. Even the neighbors pitched in to try to beat it off. Nothing.
When the tool arrived, I was amazed at the shipping materials used to protect something that was made of steel. However, it turned out to be a work of art. Beautifully constructed and simple to assemble. Although heavy, it was no problem to attach to the drum using the enclosed strap, which by the way is not initially assembled but if you are familiar with Rachet straps is no problem to set up. I used a 2 foot breaker bar to turn it although you can use an impact wrench, I don't see the advantage a few seconds saved versus the force involved when it releases. And please do put a couple of lug nuts back on while cranking.
My final opinion? Worth every dime!!
Oh, and did I mention I am a 67 year old female?
