Much better reception in a marginal area than my former Clear TV antenna.

Good after market replacement -- Gets hot.
3 of 3 found this helpful I am pleased with this; especially as corresponding computer year was detailed. After reading warnings about after-market chargers, it was good to see the recommended 2-3 second hesitation instead of immediate boot-up.
My only concern is that the charger gets quite hot after an hour or more of operation.

Very much worth having for this one use -- nice anyway.
This camera has one VERY nice peculiarity in addition to the good points and reviews already here. Newer, fancier camera have special lens coating to prevent lens flare when pointing at light-source, especially the sun. This camera does not, or the lens configuration is such that backlit subjects, especially portarits are surrounded by a BEAUTIFUL no-color aura, while facial details are well defined. I keep my E550 expressly for this purpose in spite of its age and finicky download from xD card (must use card reader).
