Poorly made - damaged my new car
Thought this would be a good tool for getting up to the roof rack on my CX-5. The cheap foam that wraps the edges was easily punctured by my weight and the sharp corner pierced my paint and left a dent in my car. Hap the corners been rounded instead of square and protected by a MOLDED plastic piece, this item would have worked. That said, it is still awkward to use as it raises you up far too much.

Good value and quality but not truly 1/8" thick like the original
1 of 1 found this helpful Nicely made and finished by Sten. Only quip is that it is not a full 1/8" thick (0.125") as advertised. It measure 0.113" thick which is 9.6% thinner. The original MTD part WAS 1/8" thick. Still a good value but will wear out about 10% faster.
