Very fast and good price.
3 of 3 found this helpful Use it with my Mac Pro 5,1. My Server has MELLANOX CONNECTX-2 MNPA19-XTR 10GBE NETWORK INTERFACE CARD. If you are looking for a 10GBE SFP+ NETWORK INTERFACE CARD for your for Mac Pro, SolarFlare SFN5122F Dual Port is a good choice with a great transfer speed.

Excellent card with very FAST SPEED and Good value
These cards are designed for servers not for PCs (you can still use them with personal computers). Servers have fans that push the air towards the card, which reduces the temperature of it at an excellent rate even with full load. I purchased two of them for use in my Synology DS3617xs and did not have any problems with them. Just use any cooling fan towards the card and you will not see any heat. As for the DAC cable, the card works well. I use Sisco Cable without any problems.
- My Server: Synology DS3617xs with 2 HP NC522SFP DUAL PORT 10GbE.
- My PC: Windows 10 with MELLANOX CONNECTX-2 MNPA19-XTR 10GB PCIe X8 10Gbe SFP+ NETWORK CARD.
Cable: SFP-H10GB-CU3M CISCO SFP + TWINAX COPPER CABLE 3M PASSIVE DAC CABLE
