Don't dim well, kind of a ugly color light

These lights might put out something close to 5000k, but it has a slight tint to it that makes the light unappealing. They also don't dim past ~60% (they start blinking/flickering at that point)

Decent rice maker

This rice maker makes excellent rice, however it is a little slow, so you have to plan ahead. I have a feeling that the fact it draws less than 700 watts of power is the reason for it being slow... it just takes a lot of power to get water to near boiling temperatures. That being said, it can keep rice warm and tasty for quite a long time after it makes it, so as long as you plan ahead you don't have to be too careful with timing.
