Features and ease of use make this great
Works great for timed shots using wireless remote and the programmable ones. Full use of manual settings, fits well in the hand, and once you learn the controls it's a joy to use. The flip out screen is beneficial for astrophotography, and the autofocus system is spot on for creative shooting when you don't want to do manual all the time. Overall very pleased and is a perfect upgrade from the D3200.

Perfect Control
Using this filter, I am able to zoom in on the sun and snap longer exposer. My goal was to look for solar flares and sunspots, this filter allows that to happen. Although I have not captured any of the events as of yet, the pending solar eclipse and continuing to track the sun will get me the photos I want. The attached photos were taken at noon, and the sun looks like a bright moon. Excellent filter!

Fits like a glove
Works in my D5300, D5200, and D3200! Comfortable grip, not overly bulky, and can run with one or two batteries and the cameras work just as before. There is storage for the battery door on the upright portion of grip so no worrying of losing the door. Easy to install, super simple.
