Love this transmitter.
I have this transmitter hooked to my PC, and I tune every radio in the house to it. I love walking around as I go about my day having my music follow me. I even have a little radio I carry when working out in the yard. I use the transmitter on high power, and I put chokes on the audio cable to the PC. Using just the supplied antenna, I get the station on my car radio for 3 blocks before it starts to fade because of the hills and trees. I find the fan noise bothersome. I find I need to carefully adjust the input volume control to avoid overmodulation - I keep it below 1/2 range. When I listen on a big stereo with big bass, the bass is boomy. I suspect that is a vestige of the old FM bass boost to try and compensate for tinny radio speakers from the last century.
