as advertised, noise becomes a factor
3 of 3 found this helpful A friend warned me of this issue with ALL fairings/windshields, but I had to try it for myself.
Yes, it does help your mileage and reduce the wind A LOT.. against your BODY, but not your head... so the wind noise is a lot more than without (if you have a quiet helmet that's not an issue).
The real issue (if you're tall - I'm 6') is that the wind comes over and hits your head, not a big issue (except the noise, like I said above) for short distances, but after a few hours, you can get neck strain that you don' t even notice till later... I'm going on a 3 day trip this week, so I'm taking a hex key wrench to take it off if I need to...
