Cisco Catalyst WS-C3750G-24TS-E 24 Port External Gigabit Ethernet Switch

Solid managed switch

The 3750G is a solid managed gigabit switch for the price, with an EoS date that's not until Jan 2018. In my professional career I've deployed hundreds of these switches, and they've functioned superbly - I even have one on my home network. The height takes a little getting used to, my suggestion is to place it at the top of the rack, so it's not staring you in the face.
