the three little wolves and the big bad pig

I love this book. Great for older children that have just outgrown the three little pigs. Anyone in construction will love reading this to themselves and or to their children!!! I had to get several copies to share with others in construction as I know they can appreciate the various houses that are built and the funny twist from the original story.

The Wednesday Witch, by Ruth Chew

I read this book when I was a child approx. 7 years old, and remembered that it was a book that was intriguing to me as I was in the stage of understanding true and make-believe facts with a little mischief and the story was captivating. I bought it for my children and they too in the 7-9 year range appear to have the same enjoyment and love the story as well. We have since bought other related stories by Ruth Chew to continue the enjoyment of reading and the Wednesday witch series. I also enjoyed reading the book again, it reminded me how to step back into the eyes of how young our children really are. Read with your children and decide what to yourself, what could be or make-believe. EJ
