You’ll never play a game like this

If you like games made by creators that have passion and creativity imbued in their work than this one is a must buy. I’ve never played a game like this and I never will get to see another because Kenji Eno died in 2013. It’s tragic that this was his last game. D2 is a reminder of how trying out new multigenre gameplay mechanics can be a risk worth taking. It’s not for everyone but if you like twin peaks + the thing + house of the dead + myst all mashed into a weird flawed but interesting story then get it.

Beware...this game is hard but so sweet!

“The dark souls of point and click adventures” only not really at all but it is really hard. It’s probably a 17-18 hour adventure but can be beaten in like 5 hours if you know what you’re doing. Definitely don’t cheat and look up a guide. This one is best if you just discover the game an inch at a time. This game is slow but the pacing is what makes it so engrossing. Kenji Eno (the creator) only made 3 games (that I know of) and this one is my favorite. I will tell you no more.
