The author hits the high notes and the low notes. A fascinating story.

Hot band and Bloomfield's guitar.
I prefer the first Electric Flag album. But you have to remember that Michael Bloomfield never made a bad record. A couple of the tracks are over-produced but the record is still terrific. Bloomfield's skills are front and center and the band is hot. Love it. The record is 50 years old and it sounds fresh. Awesome.
