Smooth ink
Writes beautifully. Unfortunately the ball point is somewhat sensitive and breaks when accidentally dropped from about 4ft on a concrete surface.

Petmate filters
I had put in a search for replacement filters not knowing the name of the water despenser I owned. Once I researched some of the pictures for the pet water despensers with filters out there and found that I have a despenser that fits filters used with the Petmate Mason dispenser, it was easy to order these. I felt like a terrible pet owner having bought this despenser and not knowing how often to replace these filters, so finding this product helped so much as the recommended time period is on the packaging. It does come in the original packaging by the way. My pets are always drinking out of this despenser.

Size 10 and up? Better look elsewhere.
I have a size 10 foot and the sock slides off my heel all the time, even with the rubber gaurd they have glued on the inside of the sock. These may be better for people with a more petite foot.
