Nice case,easy to assemble.

As mentioned nice looking & easy to assemble. I did modify it to fit a Zum board inside. Carefully with a hacksaw blade & small trim file. That works better than buying a special case to fit a Zum,for 2 to 3 times as much;) Delivery was quick also..

Works great does everything I need..

Bought this as my high end equipment is getting old & finicky. Plus the old heavy equipment is getting harder to haul around;) There's times when modern technology is better. This does just what I need, like tuning antique AM/FM tube radios. On another review had read frequency may be off a bit. This is true so always use your best (or favorite) frequency counter to verify it first.. All that said, I've very happy with it:)

Closest to a clean P/S

Have been through so many power supplies testing them all. This one is good all the way up to a 720p camera system. Recently installed a 1080P TVI system,they are more sensitive to any noise in the P/S. The symptoms range from snow in the picture & horizontal waves interlaced across it. The mildest symptom would be a 60cycle hum bar in color crossing from right to left. Not super heavy but noticeable. This power supply presented with the hum bar. All is not lost,cured this with ferrite core big round filters,looped output cables a few turns through the "doughnuts". One can also use the kind that open(half shell type) easier to wrap. This noise,the worst of them is generated by the high frequency used in the P/S. They are most efficient & small so we accept this characteristic. This particular power supply only has a mild symptom & is easier to suppress. They make another small model(vidcox) 1A,they are not nearly as clean as this one. In general any supplies that have the ferrite filter in the output has the beast chance of being clean. Like the kind we see on laptops. They all seem to have a "permanent" filter near the plug @ the end. Bottom line ..yes this one is good.
