Great upgrade/replacement for oem rubber
I can’t really speak to the particular difference but this combined with shifter bushings will make a significant change in shifter feel. The shifts feel tighter and firmer, though there still seems to be some play side to side but negligible. Install is a pain, drop the shifter down from the top instead of doing it with the assembly connected. Took a couple hours but I did the trans mount and bushings too. I recommend doing the whole package on any older Subaru.

Great product from Kartboy!
Install was about 45 mins. Zero noticeable NVH, no squeaking and deff decrease movement in the rear diff and feels more connected shifts smoother. Worth 30 bucks makes a solid difference!
