Works just as it should
Its true that the wait time for hot water is a little longer. Not only do you have to push the cold water from the pipes but you also need some time to heat the water in the heating pots for each use. Now I only use the hot faucet when I want hot water so the unit only draws electricity when its needed except for the very small bit for the controls. I am glad I did this. Also my water supply is corrosive rather than scaling so long time local users report long life for the units with very low maintenance.
