Does the Job
I've had to replace this item several times. It is somewhat cheaply made but it does the job of illuminating over the bed. Very easy to install on a headboard. After a few years using it however, the plastic coating on the inside begins to crack and break and looks unsightly as the fabric on the outside is transparent and you can see the cracks. You also need to be really careful with what bulb you use as, the plastic will burn if you go to large or high wattage. I use the small refrigerator bulbs to be on the safe side. I wish they would have a more high end version of this for sale but I could not find one anywhere on the internet except for in a victorian style.
