Addicted To Dexter

My wife watched a few episodes of Dexter while we were on a flight across the country. I didn't "get" the premise. When we got back, I bought her the 1-3 season set. I became immediately hooked. I find it to be one of the best (if not THE best), well written television shows of all time. There are a few "holes" in the storyline at times, but very forgivable. We swithced from HBO to Showtime JUST to watch season 4. We're totally up to date on every episode, and now have to wait until SEPTEMBER for Season 5 to start. I honestly can't say how we're going to deal with wwatching one-episode-a-week, when we've been watching 3, 4 and sometimes MORE in an evening / weekend. Love it. Love it. Love it. If you have an addictive personality, don't start it unless you've got a LOT of time to watch.

Only a hint of what's to come.

This book was so erotically compelling... but takes a certain open-mindedness of the reader to accept the content. An explicit fantasy / fairy-tail (gone x-rated) of dominance and subservience... pain and pleasure (and the fine-line between them). Very erotic. Very thought provoking. Almost a "training manual" for anyone who's thought about exploring this type of relationship and sexual behavior. I enjoyed the read VERY much. Very HOT.
