Fixed a barely running engine into almost like new.
Took about 30 min to install after never doing it before. The fuel lines were difficult to fit into place, I suggest cutting them at an angle to better fit through the opening. Before installing the trimmer was very difficult to start and would not stay running. After the install it started up just like it should and after adjusting the idle it worked great!
Drain the gas and oil from the machine. Remove any plastic shrouds around the carburetor.
Take a picture of the fuel line routing for reference later.
Remove the fuel tank and carburetor. Use the old fuel lines as reference lengths for cutting the new fuel lines. Do not cut the fuel line that is to be connected to the fuel filter until you attach the fuel filter and get it into place in the fuel tank.
Install the fuel tank and carburetor while attaching the fuel lines. Install any shrouds that were removed.
Fill the engine with oil and gas. Prime and start the engine. Adjust idle as needed with a cross tip screw driver.
