GREAT STRINGS
I have played acoustic guitar for 45 years. Without a doubt, D'Addario Phosphor Bronze medium strings are the best. I have tried others over the years, but ALWAYS came back to D'Addario!! My Martin always sounded the best with D'Addario strings! This 3 pack offer is very reasonably priced. Highly recommended!!!!!!

COLUMBO in a class by itself!
1 of 1 found this helpful Without a doubt, COLUMBO is the best detective show ever on tv! First of all Peter Falk, does not play Columbo. He IS Columbo. The shows are so refreshingly different from today's detective shows. I don't want to see a bunch of computer jargon and technology. I want to watch a brilliant, and highly amusing lieutenant solve complicated murders by using his wits. With all of this , Columbo is funny. I laugh over and over every time I watch him cook on the episode featuring Martin Landau. Columbo represents a down-to-earth individual, who is just the opposite of the clumsy, buffoon character he seems to be!
I watch some of my favorite episodes over and over and still enjoy them every time! Another real strength of the series is the quality of the villains! I can't say everyone of them is a super adversary to Columbo. There are 3 episodes I do not really like! But, the episodes featuring Jack Cassidy, Leonard Nimoy, Robert Culp, Martin Laudau ( just to name a few), are truly classic. The chemistry between Columbo and the murderers is truly outstanding! You can't tire of them!
Oh, just one more thing!!! Never allow tv to start a new series of Columbo. It will never survive. Let Peter Falk RIP knowing that he is one of a kind, and will always be remembered as a cigar-smoking, brilliant lieutenant named Columbo!
Buy these DVD's if you do not own them. You will NOT be disappointed!

" Here's how he did it" : The Monk series is unbeatable !! Buy it today!
A superb tv series. I watch very little tv ( except sports ). A friend of mine lent me a DVD of hers,and after one episode I was hooked. There is something for everybody here. Great stories, humor, sadness ( the episodes about Trudy!!) and most of all, fantastic acting!! I never heard of Tony Shalhoub before I watched Monk. What a GREAT actor to portray a demanding role!! His assistants( nurses) Sharona and Natalie blend in so well with Monk's quirks, although I am partial to Natalie! The interactions between Monk & Stottlemyre are funny, and yet quite sad at times! In an age where there is so much garbage on tv, it is so refreshing to see a show that is "entertaining" and can be enjoyed by all members of the family!! I am 70 years old and I watch the Monk series DVDs every night!!! Mr. Monk is my hero!!! I can watch him over and over!!. Buy this product. You will not be disappointed!
