Brakes work perfect
1 of 1 found this helpful Uncle gave me a trek 820 from 1996 with these same pads on cantilever brakes. He used the bike inside but the pads are rubber so they harden overtime. Watch a video on adjusting brake pad placement and levers and there will be no squeaking. I ride the bike downhill 40+mph every morning and am not worried about stopping.
