Reasonable range/compromised sound quality

I’ve two sets of the twin-pack phone. Clarity is good, but the built-in speaker gives meagre volume in ‘hands free’ mode. Signal strength is good from the base unit to an outside user but far less than expected when used indoors in a thick-walled, stone-built property: the signal drops out completely 2 rooms from the base unit or secondary booster, even with the extended antenna fitted.

Steam kills gameplay

Bought Spintires for my 7 year old with the expectation that gameplay would be as gratifying as Farm Simulator et al. Frustrated to find that it wouldn't load straight out of the box; requiring the full ' Steam' package to be downloaded before the game loads up. Steam took an age to load, and has since slowed my laptop to crawling pace. Gameplay is intolerable since the whole thing crawls along at glacial pace, tending towards 'glitching' near continuously. My laptop is a high-end business model, core i5, high speed processor and de-stressed when playing (nothing running in the background). I suspect the graphics card isn't up to the job (may explain the slothful graphic refresh rate), but blame the Steam package for clogging-up avainfor the
