It works.
The refilled cartridge works fine. My only complaint is they don't reset the chip that tells printer it is empty.

I have owned my Ruger Old Army about 45 years. It is the best percussion pistol I own. I have wanted one of the conversion cylinders for it for quite awhile. I finally got my chance to pick this one up. I tried it in the gun today. It fits perfect. I will be shooting my Ruger quite a bit more I'm sure. I love to shoot black powder and substitutes. However It is nice to be able to shoot non corrosive ammo! 45 long colt is very fun to shoot. I have several Remington replicas also.

Good value and versatile.
These kits are a good value. The alox is included and works well. Make sure to check that the ones you buy include the alox. In some cases I found them with alox cheaper than without it. I actually rebored two of these sizers to a custom size for my antique 43 caliber rifles. They are hardened but carbide insert will still cut them. Of course everybody doesn't operate a state of the art cnc lathe for a living like I do. ;) If you do have access to the tools and machinery you can modify them if the size you need is not available. The price is right. If you mess one up your not out a lot of money. The fact that they fit a standard reloading press instead of a special lubri-sizer press is a big plus. Lee has a good selection of sizes available for more common calibers and some odd ones too.
