2 of 2 found this helpful Batteries barely work. They look pretty, but they only last for a minute literally... they only take 2 minutes to charge up... better off buying one 2.0 AH battery from Makita. they last 10x longer and weigh less. learned my lesson. my 2.0AH is 3 years old and outperforms these so much they are absolutely useless to me......

Upgraded from 2.4 mah to 3.0 mah and you can tell the difference between the two. Also lithium ion battery last longer while the weight is significantly reduced. Which is nice as my impact runs 6.8 pounds with the new battery and was about a pound heavier.
