Exactly what it's supposed to be
1 of 1 found this helpful Modified my 2009 Kawasaki Versys 650 to use this regulator rather than the "shunt" style that it had from factory. Should prolong the life of the stator, been a couple months and it's working good so far. Seems to cap the voltage around 14.7 volts most of the time.

Versys 650, no more leaky forks
Fixed the leaky forks on my 2009 Kawasaki Versys 650. Only been 1 month and 1K miles but so far so good. The dust seals were very hard to install but these are the first ones I've done so maybe that's normal. Also, they do seem to have a bit of friction even though I greased the grooves on the oil seals. Perhaps they'll loosen up a bit after more break in...overall I'm happy with them.
