Good product
Very good for calming dry and irritated skin.

Not a good formulation.
I wanted to try this cleanser because it boasts lipo-hydroxy acid (a salicylic acid derivative) as an active ingredient. Salicylic acid does wonders for my skin, but also tends to leave my skin dry and red. I was hoping to achieve all the benefits of salicylic acid minus the irritation with a derivative. Unfortunately, this cleanser turned my skin bright red.
This cleanser feels nice and soft going on but left a very unpleasant soapy, waxy film on my face after rinsing. I assume this is due to the fourth ingredient potassium hydroxide. This ingredient is used in a lot of skin care products but I was surprised to see it so up high on the list because it can cause irritation in larger amounts. Perhaps *this* is the culprit for the red face...?
It does only require a teeny, tiny amount to get a luxurious lather. So, if you like this product it should last many months.
