Great all round zoom lens

Point at a light source with steady hands and correct settings, subject is clear and sharp.

My first prime lens

And I wanted to practice with a first prime lens that either has a 35 or 50 mm effect
This 30mm crops to about 50mm on my crop lens, which is the perfect start.
Bokeh is beautiful
Photos are not going to have sharp edges around the subject ( I prefer mine to blend a little with the background, but I'm not shooting professionally)
The lens is quite loud when testing with shooting from screen.
Best to not use your screen at all with this.
Doesn't focus quick enough at night (manual wide open works wonders and beautiful night shots
Day light at 2+ for street photography is great as a fun start lens.
As a beginner, If you have a crop sensor camera and are looking to start with your first prime lens, Recommend to buy the ART series of this, as many of the issues mentioned above has been ironed out.
