Classics from a classic

An English classic sitcom become part of German tradition
This is English slapstick at it's very best. 2 (or really 1.5) expert comedians combine to provide a side-splitting example of British humour that has intrigued Germany for many years. It is shown in staggered presentations on German television every New Year (Sylvester). The episodes are set such that one may watch it on one channel and then, at the end, turn to another channel and watch it again. It is, IMHO, one of the funniest pieces of theatre that I have ever watched. I must admit that I watch it annually (with the odd, extra viewing every now and again).
