If you want to save some money...
1 of 1 found this helpful If you're in a financial pinch and need a full set of loaded struts all around, this is a good deal. However, because this was made to suit a couple of models (Mazda3/5) over a generation, there are bound to be some compatibility issues. Here are two things I've noticed:
1) The front strut's anchor point for the brake line doesn't fit on my 2009 Mazda 5. Its a different shape so I had to zip tie it up to keep it in place.
2) The front ride height is about half an inch or so lower than my original struts. I now have issues getting my jack under the front sub frame. My guess is there was a spring rate/shape that suited both the 3/5 series.
