show rod model kits
this book is amazing I never knew that much about the companies that made the kits. Anyone who has ever built model kits should read this book. I is the most interesting thing I have read in a while . The photos of the kits and the stories behind them are first rate. If you grew up in the 60s or 70s and built models then this book is a must. It explains each of the weird kits we could get and how they came to be. I never thought I would read it and bought it for my model collection but since I got it I have been looking at it every day. every model building and collecting adult who had the privilege of growing up in that era should own this. This can not be considered a paperback book but a well put together recollection of the history of the kits. I am 59 years old but reading this takes me back to the times when we worked for our allowance to make that $2.00 and rush down and buy the new kit that had come out. My hat is off to the people who put this together and making a person go back in time and remember the good days of modeling. Thank you for the memories Ronnie
