Excellent Teleconverter

I rented the Version 2 of this several years ago on a trip to Gatlinburg along with a 70-200. The combo was pretty amazing for wildlife. These things retail for $500 and while it was a fun combo to rent for a week, I was never sure how much I'd use it. Well fast forward to recently, and I had a little disposable income. It also aligned with a 15% off Ebay sale. So combining used prices and the coupon, I was able to get Version 3 of this for $297 which was a lot better in my scenario than $500. Ordered it Friday and it arrived on Monday from California. Stuck it on my 70-200 and went outside and it's sharp with good clarity and contrast. Love it! Maybe I'll use it more now that I own it!
